Our Core Values
At Celebrate Church, there are a few core values that reallly define who we are and why we exist:
We believe…
1. That God’s Word (The Bible) is the primary catalyst for life change.
2. That every person, believer and non-believer, matters to God.
3. That a presentation of Jesus Christ should be creative and connecting while remaining Biblically pure.
4. That accountability among members provides consistent spiritual growth.
5. That people working together as a team results in effective ministry.
6. That every person has talent/ability to be discovered, developed, and deployed.
7. That in every activity, God deserves excellence and our best.
8. That effectively influencing people to Christ happens through people inviting people.
9. That consistent life growth happens best in small groups.
10. That children of each age group are being raised to exhibit godly character and authentic faith to impact their generation with the love of Christ.
What We Believe
These are the 10 foundational beliefs (tenets of faith) that we adhere to at Celebrate Church:
| 1) |
We treasure the truths and respect the reproofs of God’s Infallible Word we call the Bible.
|
| 2) |
We recognize God as our Creator and heavenly Father who is infinitely perfect and closely associated with all of our ways.
|
| 3) |
We accept Jesus Christ as Lord: God who became human flesh and is the only Son of God and who is the only object of our worship.
|
| 4) |
We confess that all humanity is born into sin and is without hope apart from a new spiritual birth, which is made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
|
| 5) |
We believe the gift of salvation is God’s unconditional love to mankind. Those who receive and accept by faith God’s gift become a totally new person on the inside.
|
| 6) |
We anticipate the return of Jesus Christ, which could happen at any moment.
|
| 7) |
We are convinced that all who have died and accepted God’s gift of love through Jesus Christ will be resurrected when our Lord Jesus returns.
|
| 8) |
We recognize the Holy Spirit as a part of the Godhead, which empowers all believers to live with authority and creativity the nature and character of God in a compromising world.
|
| 9) |
We know that Jesus Christ continues to enlarge the body of Christ over which He rules.
|
| 10) |
We are filled with gratitude to be a part of the local church, which exists to proclaim the truths of God, identify believers through water baptism, stimulate growth toward maturity, and to honor God.
