to join the girls from Celebrate Women for our monthly breakfast - Christmas Edition!
Our breakfast will be potluck and an ornament exchange. Your ornament should not cost more than $5.

Extreme Gratitude

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!! It is during this time of the year that we all focus on giving thanks for the blessings in our lives, but I want to challenge you to a new kind of Thanks Giving... what I call EXTREME GRATITUDE!
What is Extreme Gratitude? I'm glad you asked! :) Extreme Gratitude recognizes that God is in control in your life and you give thanks not only for the blessings and good things but also in the hard times! Extreme gratitude thanks God in the midst of the challenges and hardships, because as the Word of God says, "Rejoice whenever you face trials, for you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance!"
It's this kind of extreme gratitude that puts the enemy's plans in a tailspin. It's this kind of extreme gratitude that is the most powerful witness to those around you. It's this kind of extreme gratitude that helps you grow and get BETTER (not bitter) in challenging circumstances! May we have a spirit of gratitude in the good times and the bad times, after all, even in the worst of times, every single one of us has something we can be thankful and grateful for!!
I hope you can join me this Sunday at Celebrate for a special message about HOW to give thanks in our everyday lives and how to live with an attitude of extreme gratitude!

Upward Basketball & Cheer Returns!
Celebrate Church is excited to announce the return of the Upward Basketball & Cheer League for boys and girls in kindergarten through 6th grades. Games and practices will be held right here in Celebration at the K-8 Gymnasium. Upward is a unique sports outreach league where every child plays, every child learns and every child is a winner!
UPWARD SPORTS (www.upward.org), with over 500,000 children currently playing in leagues around the world!

The complete Celebrate Recovery program will be offered January 2009, but we are currently holding preliminary meetings for those desiring to get involved now.
