This 12-session study focuses on the primary issues that shape a man's life, explores in depth the biblical concept of manhood; and finally provides practical building blocks for any man to use to construct for himself a nobler, more satisfying manhood.
Meeting every Thursday from 6:00 am to 7:30 am (through April 24th).

 One Big Family

"Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God's very own family... and you belong in God's household with every other Christian." Ephesians 2:19 (LB)
Today, you can find many people floating from church to church. It is a description of America's attitude of individualism. Anywhere else in the world, being a believer is synonymous with being connected to a local body of believers. You rarely find a lone ranger Christian in other countries.
In our American Christian culture, many hop from one church to another without any identity, accountability, or commitment. It seems they do not see the value that the Christian life involves more than just believing - it also includes belonging. We grow in Christ by being in relationship to other Christians.
Unfortunately today, most people associate the term "membership" with paying dues, meaningless rituals, silly rules and handshakes, and having your name on some outdated roll.
Paul, however, had a very different image of membership. To Paul, being a "member" of the church did not refer to some cold induction into an institution but rather it meant becoming a vital organ of a living body you can see his passion written in these Bible passages (Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians. 6:15, 1 Corinthians. 12:12-27). We need to reclaim this image!
I want to encourage you to see membership as an act of commitment. Christ loves you, died for you to be in His family. It communicate that you are valued and that there are benefits connected with being a member of his family - the church.
At Celebrate we've found that when people understand the meaning and value membership, they get excited about it.
For more information about partnering, connecting, and a sense of belonging at Celebrate there are several different on-ramps... one is our Newcomers Reception, which is a casual informal gathering to help you get to know Celebrate. Another is Discover Celebrate, which introduces you to the culture of Celebrate. Finally, Doing Church As A Team is about connecting as a member.
Nothing helps this picture come into focus like personalizing the purposes of the church. Each of these on-ramps communicate to you the purposes of Celebrate and benefits of belonging to God's family.
My goal is that you will see the church as a family, rather than as an institution, and that you will take the steps to connect!

next Reception for Newcomers.
This
casual reception will give you an opportunity to meet the pastors and
staff of Celebrate as well as to get a little more information about
the mission, vision and various ministries of Celebrate. Dinner is

Not a Member of the Celebrate family?
"Doing Church as a Team" Membership Class
If you are not a member of Celebrate Church, now is the time to take that next step!
We
will be holding our next "Doing Church as a Team" Membership Class on Tuesday, April 15th at the Orlando Sun Resort from 6:00 pm to 9:00
pm. We only offer this class a few times per year, so take advantage of
this opportunity. This is a special evening class to accomodate those who cannot make it to a Saturday session.
If you call Celebrate Church "home" then we encourage you to become a member! In this class you will learn
about the vision, mission, culture and theology of Celebrate Church, as
well as be given an opportunity to join as an official member. This
class is a pre-requisite for everyone desiring to become a member at
Celebrate Church.

Baby Dedication

 We will be dedicating babies (and their parents) to the Lord on Sunday, April 27th during our 11:00 AM service. If you have a new addition to the family, be sure to register to participate. Parents, grandparents & families are invited to celebrate this important event!

Celebrate Life Groups
Next Session starts on April 13th
"You are a part of God's family!"
One way to really discover what that means is to get connected with
others in your church family. You can do that by plugging in to a Life
Group! Life Groups provide a way to connect with others, feel a sense
of belonging, and hear from God through His Word.
At Celebrate, life
groups are at the core of our culture and we encourage EVERYONE to be a
part of one of our life groups!
