Lead Pastor
Pastor Joe Saragusa came to Celebration in 2003 from New Orleans, Louisiana where he was Lead Pastor of Lakeshore Church. Celebrate Church was launched under Pastor Joe’s leadership in March of 2004. Joe was a dynamic youth minister for many years in Daphne, Alabama, where he saw many hundreds of teens’ lives changed. He also served as a high school teacher and football coach for over 15 years.
Joe is a diehard New Orleans Saints fan, and as he says, “I have been dying hard for a lot of years as a Saints fan.” Maybe this is finally the year that turns around!
His philosophy for what he does is simple… He is passionate about his love for God and passionate about communicating God’s love to people! Joe is a native of New Orleans, a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. and also of Southeastern Louisiana University. He and his wife, Carol, have been married for over 20 years and have three beautiful children!
